With 25 years in fashion, design and styling, I’ve always believed great style isn’t about having more clothes, it’s about understanding what truly works for you. My career began in fashion, but after meeting my husband I swapped city life for the countryside, designer handbags for baby bags and fashion shoots for school runs. Personal styling didn’t seem like the obvious career choice but determined to continue doing what I loved, I booked a local hall, advertised a Body Shape Masterclass and put out 15 chairs. 144 women turned up! MM Personal Styling was born. Since then, my team and I have been helping everyday women, whatever their shape, size, budget or lifestyle, feel more confident in their clothes. Today, we reach women around the world through personal styling, our online community, social media and YouTube, with more than 38 million views. I’m also the founder of the MM Styling Academy, offering 5-star-rated, CPD-accredited professional styling courses and teaching my Hourglass Balancing Method® of Styling. More recently, I joined Marame as an equity partner and Style Director, bringing my knowledge of dressing real women into the design process to create beautiful, wearable clothes that genuinely work for women’s bodies and everyday lives. Whether I’m designing, teaching, filming or styling, my goal remains the same: to make getting dressed easier and help women feel more confident in their clothes.
